Canstar editor Bruce Pitchers says customer service and account management helped BP stand out in the category.

“In a year when reliable support mattered more than ever, BP distinguished itself through outstanding customer service and account management.

“Customers also recognised BP’s extensive network and ease of doing business, highlighting the practical value it delivers every day. This winning combination of service, accessibility and customer experience earned BP the Canstar 2026 Most Satisfied Customers Award for Small Business Fuel Cards.”

BP Plus can be used for fuel and electric vehicle charging and linked to the BPme app for fuel and coffee purchases.

It also consolidates fuel and vehicle-related transactions into a single GST-substantiated monthly statement.

Fleet security features include PIN protection, customised purchase controls and optional odometer or driver identification prompts at the pump.

BP Australia and New Zealand vice president customer Lisa Archbold says the award reflects the company’s focus on supporting business customers.

“We’re incredibly proud to receive this recognition from small businesses across New Zealand.

“We know our customers need a fuel card that works hard for their business, backed by people who are ready to help when it matters. It’s fantastic to see both BP Plus and our team’s commitment recognised in this way.”
