VIA is asking members who were intending to attend in person on Tuesday to adhere to the following advice based on Ministry of Health guidelines to protect themselves and other attendees.
“Please do not attend if you have been overseas within the last 14 days and please do not attend if you are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 such as a cough, high temperature, or shortness of breath,” says VIA.
VIA says there is no requirement for a member to attend the SGM in person, a validly completed proxy form submitted correctly is deemed to be a valid attendance in regards to a quorum and voting rights.
If members wish to submit a proxy form please ensure these are received as according to the instructions attached to the proxy form.

Correctly completed proxy forms will be deemed valid if received and receipt is acknowledged by the Chair prior to the start of the meeting. Emailed proxies will need to be received by the Chair no later than 10am Tuesday March 17th.
