International Telematics is one of New Zealand’s innovators in transport technology and GNSS transport tolling.

The company has a global footprint across freight and logistics technology with offices in New York, Melbourne and Penrose, Auckland.

The Vodafone global M2M platform is a dedicated data platform hosted by Vodafone. It provides a number telematics providers with cellular connectivity to transmit data globally.

This enables NZ’s transport hi-tech providers to have global connectivity and rapidly, and remotely roll-out global solutions. These companies can now scale out far more quickly and for less cost than was imagined just a few years ago.

The deal will see ITL use the global M2M platform to provide services in established markets but to extend services across multiple territories.

International Telematics’ global CEO Guy Colglazier was in New Zealand for the signing of the deal
“The Vodafone global network removes many barriers for expansion offshore. It allows us to ship product and know that whether the box is opened in Adelaide or Albuquerque it will work,” says Colglazier.

The global platform provides International Telematics with access to over 580 mobile networks around the world.

“Businesses of all shapes and sizes can reduce complexity and cost expand internationally quickly, such as ITL,” says Vodafones M2M country manager Tony Bacon.
