UD Trucks Australia says it will now offer a two-year warranty for its truck parts.
The new warranty program increase stock availability on over 400 components while reducing costs at the same time.
The 24-month warranty applies to those installed by UD Trucks workshops and includes labour to fit them. The scheme does not apply to New Zealand.
UD Trucks Australia vice president Mark Strambi says the new program will make the brand even more competitive in the local truck market.
“At the dealership level, UD Trucks has improved the stock levels of critical parts across the dealer network, and have been rolling out a comprehensive staff training program to improve vehicle uptime and customer satisfaction even further,” he explains.
“The New Quon is our best truck ever, and our current aftersales offering is our best total offer ever. With all of the enhancement areas and support of the largest service network across Australia and New Zealand, the value really adds up,” Strambi continues.
“We listen very closely to our customer feedback, and as such we have been working tirelessly with our suppliers and our Japanese colleagues to lower the cost of UD Trucks genuine parts and to increase stock availability,” he adds.
The 24-month warranty however, Volvo Group Australia explains, does not cross the Tasman to Kiwi customers.
