UD Trucks has expanded its New Zealand service network with the appointment of eight new Truckstops service locations across the upper and central North Island.

The company says the expansion is aimed at improving nationwide coverage and supporting its fixed-price servicing programme, UD Trust, which was launched in April last year.

UD Trucks general manager Zane Erwee says Truckstops sites in Whangārei, Albany, Mount Wellington, Taupō, Napier and Rotorua are now operating as authorised UD Trucks service agents.

He says the newly built Truckstops workshop at Ruakura in Hamilton, along with Truckstops Palmerston North, will join the service network from February 1, 2026.

“This widens the coverage delivered by our existing service network and allows us to better support UD Trust, our fixed price service programme, launched in April 2025,” Erwee says.

“This expansion enables UD Trucks to deliver a greater level of convenience for customers, so we’re very pleased to welcome Truckstops on board.”

Truckstops national operations manager Trent Smith says the company is looking forward to strengthening its relationship with UD Trucks customers.

“We are proud to have several of our branches appointed to the UD Trucks service network and look forward to developing strong ongoing relationships with UD Trucks customers,” Smith says.

UD Trucks says its nationwide service network also includes its existing dealer network, Commercial Vehicle Centre, which operates four locations across the South Island, along with Central Forklift Group Limited servicing the Wellington region.

The company says no further changes are planned for areas where coverage is already in place.

Existing service agents include Progressive Maintenance in Wainui, Buckland Truck Services in Auckland, Alliance Truck and Bus | Truckstops in Wiri, Performance Diesels in Mount Maunganui, Total Parts and Service in Gisborne, Bell Block Service Centre in New Plymouth, Emmett’s Truck Services in Whanganui, and Wilmac Transport Services in Porirua.
