This includes 17 of TWL’s 19 branches which remain open and accessible to essential services. New Plymouth is on call and the Napier branch is closed due to the Hastings site being in close proximity.

The company’s three major warehouses also remain operating in support of the national network.

“As always the TWL team are here to play our part in keeping the business of transport moving,” transport general manager Glenn Stapleton says.

“In the current level 4 situation that focus is very squarely and exclusively on essential services.

“Goods can be delivered directly to essential service customers in order to save time and limit risk. Our branch doors will be locked, so we can arrange essential service product pick-ups from our front door if needed.”

“If essential service customers need to access the branch, the company will be operating under regimented cleanliness and 2-metre social distancing standards.”

“We are taking a wide range of precautions to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19 and to protect our employees, customers, business partners and communities. Our preparedness includes closely following the Ministry of Health’s advice,” Stapleton says.

Stapleton says that the best method for accessing TWL is via the phone and email, including their online enquiry form. Or go to www.goughtwl.co.nz to access all of this on their website.
