TTC has introduced a range of brake boosters for the Australian and New Zealand truck and trailer market manufactured by TSE, which has been involved in brake booster innovation for over 50 years.
United States-based TSE is a Berkshire Hathaway company, the holding company owned by the world’s richest man, Warren Buffet.
TTC Australia’s general manager Darren Miller says: “TSE’s product pedigree means they supply major fleet and OEM customers worldwide, so buying TSE under the TTC ‘quality alternative’ umbrella means customers are buying a product that is specifically engineered to meet the rigorous demands of today’s heavy vehicle braking systems.”
The brake boosters are certified ISO9001, QS9000, TS16949-compliant and European TUV- approved across multiple applications.
TTC has experienced solid growth in its markets this year: “We have added distributors across Eastern Europe and France as well as Australia and New Zealand where customers value TTC’s established products,” says Miller.
Miller adds: “TTC is building a client base in Australia and New Zealand and the growing demand for European Truck products means that TTC Australasia is well placed to serve their distributors in-territory ongoing. People trust what we do and what we provide,” says Miller.
“We work closely with customers to establish a dedicated network of TTC distributors ensuring that TTC ‘genuine’ product is available only through the approved stockists in each territory.
“Quality Alternative provides for the cost-conscious market that must have a quality product at a more affordable price, while we also stock the leading OEM brands, including Checkpoint, Continental, FAG, Fleetguard, Haldex, Knorr-Bremse, Lemforder, LuK, MANN & Hummel, Monroe, REMY, Sachs, TRW and Wabco,” says Miller.
Says Miller: “TTC are building a steady following and a number of discussions are taking place with some of New Zealand’s premier parts companies as TTC seeks to work with a chosen partner in both the North and South Island.”
