In his new role, Stevenson will be leading the front-line focus on mechanical service in Hamilton. This includes building a reputation as the official service agents for Mercedes Benz, Freightliner, and Iveco.

“I’ve had a longstanding relationship with TRT for years. Throughout my business ownership, their exceptional parts support was invaluable, and I have always got on extremely well with the people beforehand, so I was excited to accept this new position,” Stevenson says.

“I am really looking forward to working in a business that genuinely values their employees and recognises the importance of retaining such exceptional talent.”

TRT sales general manager Gavin Halley adds: “It’s important we have the right person in this role to deliver our ongoing commitment and promise to our customers. Darryl is highly respected in the industry and already well-adapted to the ins and outs of our business.”

“We’re dedicated to upholding the company’s mission of enhancing our capacity to exceed customer expectations. When customers choose TRT to support their business, whether it’s for truck repairs, servicing, maintenance, or parts support, we want them to feel confident with the team they are placing their trust in.

“Having the right person with the technical skills and knowledge to lead that team will provide that trust,” Halley says.
