TransportTalk is welcoming the appointment of new business manager Anneke Featonby.
She takes over from Sophie Song who is leaving to join the team at Keith Andrews Trucks as marketing manager.
Featonby has more than 10 years of experience in digital marketing with an automotive background, including a previous role as national sales and account manager at Trade Me Motors.
She says getting out and about and meeting clients is a real passion of hers.
“I look forward to learning as much as I can about the industry. I’ve already got out there to meet a few clients and I’ll slowly but surely be making my way around to greet many more,” Featonby says.
Meanwhile, Song started her role at TransportTalk in early 2018 and has formed strong relationships in the transport industry during her time in the role.

“Seeing how the transport industry and businesses from every sector tackles the freight task and shapes the future of transport in New Zealand has been a real highlight,” Song says.
“I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to talk to so many people in the industry with extensive knowledge across freight in general from service providers to the end customers.
“They are companies of all shapes and sizes but playing an important part in New Zealand’s transport industry,” she says.
