An “All Access Hackathon” about unleashing the potential of technology to create a more inclusive transport system will be run by the NZ Transport Agency in September.
There are people and parts of New Zealand which experience barriers when accessing transport – whether through geography, affordability, literacy, physical accessibility, or other factors.
The hackathon – the second run at the NZTA’s Innovation Zone in Auckland, will explore how technology can be used to bridge that gap.
Problem solvers, creatives, developers, analysts, behavioural experts, user experience designers and anyone who wants to make a difference can register free before September 7.
The All Access Hackathon is on September 21-23.
After working all weekend, teams present their concepts and prototypes for prizes awarded by a judging panel.
