TransDiesel Ltd purchased the Pacific Material Handlings (PMH) New Zealand business primarily for the distribution of the Sennebogen material handling product on December 1.
Sennebogen offers a range of material handling machines for scrap handling, waste/recycling, timber handling, port handling and demolition applications.
“TransDiesel has seen continued growth in its business over the past four years since acquiring the NZ distributorships for Volvo and Yanmar construction equipment, and this is an exciting addition as we already provide service to some Sennebogen machines and have a common customer base,” says TransDiesel chief executive officer Mike McKessar.
“These machines typically are used in high utilisation applications, so we understand the high uptime expectations of Sennebogen customers, and we believe TransDiesel can continue to build on the good work that PMH have done in establishing the product in NZ,” says McKessar.
The Auckland TransDiesel team is gaining former PMH staff Kevin Hickey (product and technical support) and Fred Phillips (operations) who retain their roles.
“They bring with them a wealth of experience and customer and technical knowledge which will ensure we provide our new and existing Sennebogen customers with the same high-quality service for which TransDiesel is renowned,” says McKessar.
Along with offering the Sennebogen product, TransDiesel is also able to offer TW Logstackers, Genesis sheers and attachments and SMAG grabs to the New Zealand market.
