A tender for many of the assets of failed roading contractor Blacktop Construction Limited is underway.
The company, founded in 1977, employed 70 when it collapsed in September, one director blaming a systematic problem in the industry of lowball offers for contracts was a factor in the collapse.
Turners is handling the tender on behalf of receivers, from Blacktop’s Wiri yard.

Bitumen spray trucks
Tankers
6 wheeler tippers
Machine trailers
Milling machines
Pavers
Rollers
A viewings will be held at the yard, at 3 Bolderwood Place, on the 16th and 23rd of October from 10am – 4pm.
