Teletrac Navman has launched its new Multi IQ Camera, an AI-powered video telematics system designed to give fleet operators greater visibility and safety oversight.

The next-generation solution was previewed at the recent 2025 Brisbane Truck Show.  It features a cloud-based dashcam setup that can support up to five cameras across a vehicle—covering the cab, sides, rear, cargo area or undercarriage—in addition to its dual front and driver-facing dashcam.

According to Teletrac Navman, the system is aimed at addressing common challenges around blind spots in trucks and large vehicle combinations. It uses AI analytics to detect and flag incidents such as drowsiness, distracted driving, risky driving and potential collisions, all recorded in high definition. These flagged events can be used for driver coaching or as evidence.

The company cites insights from the 2025 Mobilising the Future of Fleets Report, which found that 70% of businesses have been affected by distracted driving incidents, with 68% identifying mobile phone use as the primary cause.

The camera system integrates with TN360, Teletrac Navman’s fleet management platform, combining video, location, and performance data in a single interface. The company says new workflows within TN360 help manage the volume of footage and alerts, enabling events to be tagged for review and used for training or incident analysis.

New features also include camera health monitoring, allowing operators to confirm whether the system is functioning and whether camera views are clear—ensuring footage is available when needed.

“Multi-camera systems are not new, but what we’ve developed with the Multi IQ Camera is the industry’s first fully integrated, AI-enhanced, solution that works seamlessly with TN360 to provide a comprehensive view of the full vehicle footprint,” chief product officer Andrew Rossington says.

“We’re giving fleet operators real-time video insight into every angle of their operation with the intelligence to act on it. Whether it’s reducing blind spots, coaching drivers, or defending against false claims, this solution drives better safety and operational outcomes for fleet managers and teams.

“Our customers wanted more context, not just more footage, and the Multi IQ Camera delivers exactly that,” Rossington adds.

“By seeing more, knowing more, and acting faster, fleet managers are not only improving safety, but gaining the insights they need to run a smarter business.”

A range of additional camera options and driver input tools will be available alongside the core system.
