Budget bus operations ManaBus and Naked Bus are set to close in mid-July, according to the company websites.
Up to 50 jobs are on the line as a result, the NZ Herald reports.
The companies are part of InMotion Group, which also operates Fullers, 360 Discovery, Roam Experiences and Waiheke Bus Company.
A spokeswoman for Mana says the bus services are closing in order to focus more on the company’s ferry services, NZ Herald reports.
The services are finishing on July 15 and will run as normal until then.
Full refunds will be provided to customers who have made bookings after the closure date.
