It comes with sharper pricing, higher specification levels, a longer warranty and an extended roadside assistance package.

The Korando range has been rationalised, offering customers three models – two four-wheel-drive petrol models and a 4WD diesel.

The facelifted Korando comes in three models, including two 4WD petrol models.

The mid-sized Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) retails for as little as $27,990 for the Korando Sport, while the well-equipped Korando Limited sells for $29,990. The range-topping 4WD diesel SPR now sells for $39,990.

The Korando Sport features a high-resolution reversing camera, front and rear parking aid and a variety of upgrades. The Korando Limited retains features including roof rails, a rear spoiler, and privacy glass, while adding daytime running lamps to the premium 2WD model.

It’s not just the Korando that has been treated to a new price point, with the Tivoli also benefitting from the pricing realignment. The Tivoli Sport, SsangYong’s entry-level vehicle, sells for $26,990 and the Tivoli Limited slots in between the two petrol-powered Korando models at $28,990.

A new, Limited Edition 2WD diesel manual Actyon SSR has been added to the SsangYong range. The popular ute is enhanced with 20-inch alloy wheels and tyres, SSR stripes and decal treatment, along with SSR interior accents. It retails for $29,990.

A Limited Edition 2WD diesel manual ute, the Actyon SSR, has been added to the SsanyYong range.

GLMD has also announced that all models in the SsangYong range will now receive a five year, 100,000km warranty and five-year roadside assistance package.

“These are very exciting times for SsangYong,” GLMD managing director Deon Cooper says. “We have great products that offer high levels of specification at unbelievable pricing. Added to that, our customers now have the peace of mind in knowing their new car is covered by a five-year warranty. Our dealers are in for busy times.”
