A limited run of Black and White Edition Actros 2660 LS trucks supported by a special finance rate package are now available from Mercedes-Benz Truck dealers in New Zealand.
The 2660 model is the top-specification truck in the current Actros range and features a 16-litre V8 turbo diesel engine generating 600hp and 2800Nm of torque. It comes standard with a 12-speed automated manual transmission.
Mercedes-Benz Financial is offering a special fixed rate of just 3.9% per annum on a tailored finance package to approved business customers for the Black and White series Actros 2660 LS.
Both the Black and White Edition trucks feature a double gray stripe indicating they are not standard Actros models.
Other external cues include Bi-Xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights, stainless steel accents, as well as a Black Edition or White Edition graphic above the windscreen.
Inside the cab, the driver and passenger are treated to high-quality special edition leather seat trim, air suspended driver, and passenger seats as well as a cabin refrigerator.
The Black and White Edition trucks feature the F04 sleeper cab, with plenty of room and a comfortable mattress.
Senior manager of Mercedes-Benz Truck sales, Dave Ballantyne says the Black and White Edition Actros models represents an excellent package.
“Our customers already know the Actros delivers when it comes to low fuel consumption, reliability, durability, safety, comfort and high operational performance,” he says.
“It has never been better, but we wanted to go a step further and create something special for Actros customers.”
Ballantyne says Mercedes-Benz Truck thought long and hard about configuring a special edition truck.
“We decided to give the exterior a boost, with distinctive headlights, the chrome, the stripe and the choice of black or white, and we are paying a lot of attention to the interior,” says Ballantyne.
“The large cab, with these brilliant leather seats and fridge fitted as standard, will make driving an Actros even more enjoyable than usual,” he says.
