Southpac Trucks has opened a new branch in Nelson, marking its ninth location nationwide and expanding its support for transport operators across the top of the South Island.

The Nelson branch began trading on January 19, providing local access to parts, servicing and on-the-ground support for truck and fleet customers, the company says.

Located at 5A Fayette Lane, the new site is fully stocked with Kenworth, DAF and TRP parts, and is designed as an open warehouse format where customers can browse and access products directly.

Southpac Trucks says the branch currently employs three staff — two counter staff and one outside sales representative. Plans to expand the offering include a merchandise room and customer coffee machine.

“The new branch allows us to better serve the Top of the South with local access to parts, service, and experienced support from the Southpac Trucks team,” the company says.
