Company director Jason Hofmann has more than 20 years of experience in the signwriting industry and has specialised in the transport industry for the last 18 years.

During that time he has worked on traditional signwriting to computer generated graphics and large format clear coating for the national trucking industry.

Sign Logistics has the facilities to hang large format applications and can apply a flexible high gloss UV clearcoat to large format graphics such as curtainsiders, billboards, banners and digital prints.

Hofmann says applying a UV clearcoat “makes signage last for years to come”.

“Sign Logistics can apply vinyl cut graphics through to full wraps. Customers have hundreds of colours to choose from in six distinctive looking finishes from matte, satin, gloss, carbon fibre and brushed metal,” Hofmann says.

Hofmann started his career in the early 90s and after completing his trade certificate he headed on his OE and worked for a signage firm in North London.

This gave him a lot of experience and included major clients such as Marco Pierre White Restaurants, Jaeger fashion stores and English pubs, many requiring traditional brush work.

He also managed the Mt Maunganui branch of specialist transport signage company TCC Solutions, signwrting large trucks and perfecting the art of signwriting and clear coating curtainsiders.

Hofmann says moving billboards are the best ways to get noticed as a business.

Now running and managing Sign Logistics, he supplies and services some of New Zealand’s largest transport companies.
