Up to 30 vehicles per day are being taken off the stink bug-affected Sepang Express.

The Ministry for Primary Industries told AutoTalk it is currently checking cargo samples from two decks, with 24-30 units being processed each day.

“We are constrained by the time taken for the units to go through the heat treatment chamber, so cannot give an exact estimate of when the controlled discharge will be finished,” an MPI spokesperson says.

The timing could change if the risk profile changes, however, no evidence of live stink bugs has been found to date.
