Scania New Zealand is now providing finance packages aimed to give total solutions to its customers and help them into new trucks.
“This is an exciting development as we look to grow our customers’ businesses together,” Scania New Zealand sales director Deon Stephens says.
“It represents much more than just offering finance on a truck – it’s about being a trusted adviser to our customers.
“It’s also about knowing we have the tools in the toolbox to support our customers within the transport industry and offering them solutions to help their businesses remain profitable and unlock their potential.”
Scania Finance New Zealand is an extension of what has been available in Australia with Scania.
Wayne Thomason, national sales manager for Scania Finance Australia and New Zealand, says opening the finance business in New Zealand means being able to help more Kiwi drivers into the seat of their next Scania.
“This includes creating new roles of our business development managers. Having them on the ground working directly with our customers to help fund their new Scania plus the trailer that runs with that vehicle.”
Two new business development managers will begin their Scania Finance roles this month based in Auckland and Christchurch and they will work closely with the Scania sales team.
