Auckland-based QEX Logistics has signed a service contract with logistics company SF Express Australia.
The contract will enable QEX to export refrigerated products into China including high-value goods such as cherries, frozen meat and fresh milk.
The contract runs until December 2018 after which an ongoing relationship will be assessed.
SF Express, the parent company of SF Express Australia, has the fastest delivery network in China, with an extensive cool chain service network.
Its distribution network reaches 127 cities through the North, East, South and central China and it delivers millions of shipments a day.
The partnership will offer QEX customers and suppliers an improved service throughout China. QEX and SF Express will begin exporting goods into China from October.

The QEX board says the relationship with SF Express has the potential to provide additional revenue and growth opportunities.
QEX listed on the New Zealand stock market in February this year. It specialises in storage, supply, packaging, customs clearance and delivery of Kiwi products bought from stores, online and e-commerce sites.
The company was founded in 2010 by husband and wife team Ronnie and Doreen Xue.
