John Keenan, Truck Stops director, praised the appointment, saying: “We know Corkery is keen for the challenge of this role, and we look forward to welcoming him to the team.”

Corkery has spent many years at Honda NZ, holding the positions of service manager and service dealer support manager.

He was also appointed as the Honda Care dealer support manager, and was a member of the project team which developed and implemented a customer-centric CRM system into the dealer network.

On top of this he has been Honda Care operations manager and, most recently, service business development manager for Honda NZ.

The focus of this role was to manage the national service department to support and develop the Honda-owned and national dealer network service departments to ensure CSI and franchise standards were met.
