According to PartsTrader heavy-vehicle market manager Matt Chote, it provides an instant search and comparison of price, delivery and part type, meaning the participants can make an informed choice and move directly through to ‘click and order’.

Chote says that PartsTrader is an online marketplace for vehicle parts procurement.

He says the portal is used by collision and mechanical workshops because it connects repairers and parts suppliers in an integrated vertical market. PartsTrader has been operating for over 12 years in NZ, and has been in the US market since 2013.

“The PartsTrader platform has been designed from the ground up to scale to global levels. It is an easy-to-use online marketplace that provides workshops with a single source for sourcing parts from leading dealers, recyclers and alternative parts suppliers,” Chote says.

“PartsTrader transacts over $2 billion annually. More than 11 million parts ordered through the platform and efficient processing saves our users 900,000-plus hours per year,” he says.

“Whether you are an OEM, aftermarket, or remanufactured specialist or a recycled parts supplier, PartsTrader connects you with repairers at the moment they are actively looking for replacement parts. Your online opening hours are now 24/7,” Chote says.

“We are not a parts retailer. We match buyers with panel and mechanical parts suppliers, to ensure that repairers are able to source the right part, in the right time, at the right price.”

In conclusion, he says, “Keep an eye out for updates on the progress of Instant Quotes, and if you are looking for options in your business you can sign up at partstrader.co.nz.”
