Vehicle leasing firm ORIX New Zealand recently celebrated its 30 year anniversary with a gala event at its car yard facility.
The local subsidiary of the global leasing giant ORIX Corporation, hosted many of its suppliers from across the New Zealand motor vehicle industry.
“We are very proud of the relationships we have with our suppliers, and really wanted to celebrate our 30 years of single ownership in the local market with them. Many of these suppliers have been with us since the early days and play a pivotal role in us providing our exceptional service,” ORIX New Zealand general manager Barry Nicholson says.
“Here at ORIX we have an internal culture that breeds quality service. We have people working with us today who started over 25 years ago, we look after our people and we look after our clients.”
The venue was completely overhauled for the celebrations with some stylish balloons and giant light letters displaying ‘ORIX 30’.
A two man band kept the vibe going throughout the evening and a food truck provided some local Maori Fusion cuisine.
Catherine Paul, an ORIX employee of 30 years who attended the event, says she is excited and proud to be a part of a business that has come so far.
“If you had asked me 30 years ago if I’d still be here today, I would have laughed off the idea as being absurd! But 30 years on, ORIX has maintained the wonderful unique culture and great work ethic that I fell in love with at the start.
“We are a close-knit team that looks out for each other and that has never changed. I have always been and still am today, proud to be a part of the ORIX family.”
