NZI has appointed Daniel McIntyre as transport and logistics manager, a newly created role aimed at strengthening the insurer’s support for the freight sector.
McIntyre has more than 20 years’ experience in marine insurance and has worked with some of New Zealand’s largest operators in freight and logistics.
NZI says the appointment is part of a wider strategy to deliver insurance solutions tailored to the industry, providing integrated protection across freight, transport and logistics operations.
“Daniel brings a deep understanding of the complex needs of freight operators and logistics providers,” the company says.
