Finalists have been announced for the New Zealand Engineering Excellence Awards, taking place on Friday November 30.
Beginning in 2005, the awards have quickly become the premier event for engineering professionals in New Zealand.
Three major categories are honoured: People, recognising leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship and young engineers; Project and Product Awards, which recognise achievement in the various industry areas, together with a Supreme award for the best of the Project and Product winners; and Engineering Practice Awards, which recognise a product, programme, project or a person demonstrating the application of engineering knowledge and skills to achieve excellence in safety, environmental protection or community engagement.
