The Kiwi dollar is dipping following the lack of a clear election winner.
It’s around US71.9 cents after dropping from about US73.30c to 72.54c just after the September 23 election result left National and Labour pondering a government with NZ First.
The result of special voting is expected on October 7, with NZ First leader Winston Peters likely to decide by October 12.
The US markets have been a focus since US president Donald Trump and North Korean leader King Jong Un traded jibes, with weaker than predicted results from the US.
The Kiwi has traded lower at 61.1 euro cents and fell to 53.8 British pence while trading at 91.9 Australian cents.
