Prime minister Jacinda Ardern has announced that all of New Zealand will remain at COVID-19 alert level 4 until 11.59pm Friday August 27, with cabinet to review earlier that day.
She says Auckland will remain in alert level 4 until 11.59pm on Tuesday August 31, with cabinet to review the regions alert level earlier that day.
