Scania New Zealand has appointed Hokitika-based Service Diesel as its new contracted partner for the West Coast.
Service Diesel is a local general cartage and freighting company that has been servicing the West Coast and Canterbury regions for almost 20 years.
As a result, Scania New Zealand has also confirmed that Scania Greymouth is now closed.
“Further developing Scania’s renowned quality customer service and regional support was top of mind in appointing Service Diesel,” the company says.
“This new service dealer means its customers will benefit from a larger site than previously, which means more capacity while also increasing the size of the Scania team on the coast – now with eight team members on board.
“Scania customers can be assured of a seamless transition of service,” it says.
