Moana Blue has opened its sixth Terminal Receiving Station in Japan.
The facility in Kobe is close to the auction yards and right on the water for vessel loading.
That makes the delivery of cars to Moana Blue very simple for the company’s suppliers, general manager Matt Battle says.
“We have been very lucky to get this opportunity,” he says.
“With two yards for Tokyo plus Nagoya, Osaka and Kyushu, our new purpose built facility in Kobe can hold up to 1500 vehicles, further establishing Moana Blue within the industry.”
The company offers everything from NZTA border inspections, MPI pre-clearance, odometer certification and conditions reports and imaging.
Container vanning using Moana Blue’s own system is also undertaken on site.
Moana Blue has been supplying shipping, logistics and inspections services to the industry since mid 2014.
