Forty-five people working in the automotive, transport, logistics and industrial textile fabrication industries have been awarded scholarships by MITO.

The industry training organisation hopes the scholarships will help the winners develop by contributing to apprenticeships, training programmes and business management qualifications.

“We continue to receive an extremely high number of applications for our annual scholarship programme and the selection process becomes harder and more competitive each year,” MITO chief executive Janet Lane says.

“We are inspired by the passion of these high-calibre applicants and their personal commitment to further education and industry training. This year’s recipients should be immensely proud of their achievement and I personally wish them every success for the future.”

The scholarships range in value, starting from $1000.
