Running from November 15 – 29, the course takes just five hours to complete and participants are eligible to register even if they do not have a DriverSafe passport, or if their DriverSafe passport has expired (if the DriverSafe course was done more than five years ago).

Endorsed by the Road Transport Forum, the NZ Trucking Association, and the Road Transport Association New Zealand, DriverSafe provides the necessary health and safety knowledge to operate safely on and around stationary vehicles.

It aims to improve out of cab hazard awareness and identification, reduce workplace injuries, and improve compliance with the health and safety employment act (1992).

Download a registration form from www.mito.org.nz or call 0800 88 21 21.
