Mercedes-Benz Trucks plans to deliver a snow drive experience in Queenstown in mid-2015 as part of the brand’s newly-formed driving academy.

The snow experience is the first of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere and will allow guests to drive the entire Mercedes-Benz Trucks range throughout a series of ice, snow and 4X4 settings.

“This is another example of us pushing the limits, and like our customers we are looking forward to descending on Queenstown for next year’s event,” says Mercedes-Benz truck and bus general manager, Justin Whitford.

“While being a bucket list item for a number of our customers, the event will allow us to further address the world-class ability and applications of our range,” says Whitford.

The driving academy and snow experience will be managed by chief driving instructor, Peter Hackett in association with Mercedes-Benz Trucks’ senior product and technical manager Andrew Assimo, to ensure guests receive an unparalleled driving and product experience.
