Family-owned transport operator McFall Fuel has secured a major distribution contract with BP to supply fuel to retail and commercial customers across the North Island.
The agreement will see McFall Fuel deliver fuel to the majority of BP’s retail and commercial network in the North Island and represents one of the largest contract wins in the company’s history.
McFall Fuel says the contract reflects ongoing investment in its people, fleet, infrastructure, technology and operational capability.
Chief executive Stephen Fraser says the agreement aligns with the company’s long-term growth strategy.
“We’ve always believed there is significant opportunity for McFall Fuel to continue growing and expanding our role within New Zealand’s fuel supply chain. This contract is another important step in that journey.
“Our strategy has never been growth for growth’s sake. We’ve focused on building the right foundations, investing in our people, strengthening our systems, and creating a business that can scale while continuing to deliver exceptional service. This result is a reflection of that disciplined approach.”
The company says the new contract will support further investment in staff, fleet and operational infrastructure throughout the North Island.
McFall Fuel says the additional work will strengthen its presence across the region while creating opportunities for future growth.
Founded more than 50 years ago, the company supplies fuel, lubricants and related services to a range of sectors including transport, agriculture, construction, forestry, farming and commercial businesses.
