Online adult toy retailer Adulttoymegastore will take more than four weeks to transfer its stock to a new warehouse in Grenada North, Porirua that is ten times the size of its current Wellington-based operation.

Adulttoymegastore, also known as ATMS says the growth and demand it is experiencing from online buyers means it’s recently purchased 3500 square metre property will become the largest warehouse specifically used for adult toys in New Zealand.

ATMS is a Wellington-based online adult toy and lingerie retailer that started in 2009.

Since then, it has seen substantial growth, including entering the Australian market, and the retailer has plans in motion to expand to further countries, including the USA.

Adulttoymegastore’s head office will remain on Haining Street in Te Aro, Wellington, to cater to a growing team, while warehouse operations will move to its new site in Grenada North.

The move begins August 1, with the transition expected to take three to four weeks, according to ATMS warehouse logistics manager Rohan Whyte.

“Continuing to provide our customers with the best possible service during the move is our top priority, so we’ve planned for the transition to the new warehouse to run over a month to ensure minimal disruption to normal operations,” says White.

“Logistically, it’s going to be much more efficient for the team, and ultimately better for our customers, because the new warehouse can hold millions of products,” he says.
