Cairns has served on the Freightways board for the past five years, including four years as chair.

“It has been a privilege to serve on the Freightways Board over the past five years,” Cairns says.

“Freightways is an outstanding business with a strong culture and a clear strategy for continued growth.

“Having considered my future governance commitments, I have decided that the time is right to reduce my workload and devote more time to family business interests.

“I have great confidence in the company’s future and wish the wider Freightways team every success.”
