After five months of operations, New Zealand’s newest city-to-city coach service has carried more than 100,000 passengers on its double decker coaches.
ManaBus.Com’s 100,000th customer travelled from Whangarei to Auckland on the 16th of April.
To celebrate the milestone, the 100,000th passenger was given a hamper by ManaBus.Com chief executive Sheryll Otway, and also got to take some photos with mascot ‘Keko’.
The company also gave out special treats and goody bags to mark the special occasion for everyone riding the service.
ManaBus.Com says it will be increasing services to some destinations from May 1. This includes doubling services to Tauranga and adding a trip to Rotorua.
This comes off the back of an announcement that five new bespoke double decker coaches have been ordered from Kiwi Coach Builders in Tauranga to be delivered by the end of 2015
