The company’s two previous existing Sydney warehouses, Mainfreight Logistics Erskine Park and Mainfreight Logistics Moorebank, have been integrated into the new Kookaburra site.

The warehouse is located just off the M7 at 55 Yarrunga St, Prestons NSW and offers convenient access to key motorways and main arterial roads.

Just around the corner is its neighbouring Mainfreight Prestons transport and logistics supersite. The close proximity between the two sites strengthens the Sydney warehousing operations by minimising handling and reducing lead times within Mainfreight’s network.

The site includes a 4000m2 enclosed breezeway, 900m2 of office space, 27,000 racking spaces, 3500 satellite racking spaces, 2000m2 mezzanine area, 16 rear loading docks, 99kw solar power system, HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) certification, Customs and Excise licensing for alcohol (bonded storage) and class 1.3 Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) certification.
