Mainfreight has further expanded its operations in Australia with the opening of a new branch depot in Geelong, Victoria.
This is the 15th branch to be opened in Australia by Mainfreight, and it joins two located in Melbourne as well as a regional Victorian branch in Ballarat, west of Melbourne, and Albury which is located near the Victorian and New South Wales border.
Mainfreight says that opening a depot in Geelong allows it to take better quality control of the supply chain by improving transit times and delivery cycles, rather than outsourcing to other transport operators.
The new branch is located at 29 Seabright Street, North Shore in Geelong.
