Invercargill-based King House Removals has taken hold of a shiny new Mack for relocation work throughout the lower South Island.
The 6X4 tractor unit is rated to 200 ton and features 685HP (510kW) and 2300lb-ft of torque (3118Nm) and has a 12-speed mDrive automated manual transmission.
A 46-inch mid-rise sleeper cab is complete with an under bunk 30L Waeco fridge. The amber and purple flashing roof-mounted beacon alerts other road users that a house is coming at them.

The family-owned and operated business is run by Warren and Grant Willis and they also have operations based out of Christchurch.
The truck was officially put into service this month and is eagerly expecting its first load.

King House Removals have moved over 7000 homes and are long-standing members of the New Zealand Heavy Haulage Association.
