Kennards Hire New Zealand primary charity drive ‘Kennards for Kids’ has raised more than $40,000 for the KidsCan children’s charity, bettering last year’s result of $30,000.

“Kennards For Kids was created to help youth in our communities realise their potential,” says Kennards Hire chief executive officer Liz Ward.

Local branches of Kennards Hire are also involved in a range of independent community-based projects, such as school and environmental causes.

For every hire made during September and October, those branches around New Zealand donated $2 to KidsCan, who use the money to provide food, clothing and basic health care in schools to enable kids to reach their full potential.

“KidsCan now supports 500 schools throughout New Zealand due to the generous support of businesses such as Kennards Hire,” says KidsCan fundraising and marketing general manager Jan Clark.
