Jevic NZ has officially taken control of Vehicle Inspection NZ, but for now there are no changes being made to the business.
VINZ is one of just three Transport Service Delivery Agents, who until new rules come into play, are the only firms able to offer Certificate of Fitness inspections.
“it is very much business as usual,” says Jevic NZ chief executive Euan Philpot.
“We are getting heavily involved at looking into the business,” Philpot says.
Next week he will travel the country looking a the VINZ operation with general manager Frank Willett.
“Next week we are going around the country, visiting the various VINZ sites and meeting the staff,” says Philpott.
