Botany MP Jami-Lee Ross has been promoted as senior whip and new opposition spokesman for transport and infrastructure.
He replaces Papakura MP Judith Collins who moves up the National Party list to fourth place to tackle housing and urban development.
“Seven years ago today in 2011 National won the Botany by-election. I was fortunate to be the candidate on the ballot paper.
“Now in 2018, three leaders later, I’ve moved up to chief whip, I have a great electorate team behind me, and I’m still loving the job,” Ross says.
The reshuffle is part of new National leader Simon Bridges’ fresh look for the party after winning the caucus vote for the top role.
