Iveco customers in New Zealand now have additional reassurance on the road with the new Iveco Assist roadside assistance plan.
From April 1, 2016, every new vehicle sold is covered by Iveco Assist for the duration of the warranty period.
By dialing 0800 367 483, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, a customer can speak to a member of the Iveco Assist team.
The team member will discuss the matter with the customer to determine what next steps should be and should escalation be required; a trained technician will be dispatched to attend to the vehicle or a recovery unit will be utilized to deliver the vehicle to the nearest Iveco Dealership.
Benefits of the programme include minor roadside repairs, battery and parts replacement, key replacement and locksmith services, towing, emergency message relay, emergency transportation, and coordination.
This service is also extending to all previously sold Iveco vehicles that are still under a warranty programme.
“This was an easy win for our customers and therefore a no-brainer. IVECO stands behind its products and by providing a roadside assistance program free of charge, it allows us to support our clients and provides our customers well-deserved peace of mind,” says Iveco New Zealand general manager Ian Walker.
“In addition to the direct benefit of the client and driver, this programme also provides IVECO immediate and invaluable information about the vehicles on the road which allow us to act quicker, more methodically and with systemic action where required,” he says.
The extensive Iveco parts and service network with 18 locations nationwide is supporting Iveco Assists. Vehicles outside of their warranty period can still use Iveco Assist, but may incur a cost for some of the features.
