As sales of Iveco trucks and vans grow in New Zealand, the distributor has announced that it is prospecting for new parts and service and sales agents to strengthen its network.
Iveco recently appointed two new sales dealers, and is seeking more.
The commercial vehicle brand kick-started its new customer service development programme by bringing together its dealers from both islands for a recent convention in Auckland.
“As Iveco grows there is a matching need to increase coverage of the territory, to be closer to our customers, so we have just opened up the opportunity for interested parties to access information on how to become a potential dealer,” says Iveco dealer development manager Matteo Gambaro.
At the dealer convention Iveco New Zealand shared its plans and showed how, in partnership with the dealers, it would work towards enhancing the customers’ brand experience by providing best-in-class total support for their vehicles and businesses.
“This conference was an opportunity to bring the entire team together with a clear focus on renewing and strengthening our relationship with our dealers and our customers,” says Iveco New Zealand general manager Ian Walker.
“As sales continue to grow, the professionalism, readiness, and momentum of our parts and service network will play a pivotal role in the competitive advantage that an Iveco purchase brings to our customers,” he says.
“Iveco New Zealand is putting a great emphasis on cultivating a healthy relationship with its network. We have a great group of dealers who are clearly dedicated to the Iveco franchise and our customers.”
While at the event, the dealer network heard more about the programmes that Iveco New Zealand has recently launched, and will continue to introduce over the next few months.
These programmes include a roadside assistance package Iveco Assist, for the duration of the warranty period, Elements Programme Maintenance, which includes the ServiceBond package, which provides routine service on the vehicle, and the EasyRoad package which provides service, repair, and maintenance.
The dealer network also had the opportunity to share best practices and together discuss how it would further strengthen its service offer to customers.
Iveco New Zealand says parties who are interested in becoming potential Iveco dealers, whether in parts/service or sales, should visit iveco.co.nz/dealer-opportunity for more information.
