Isuzu New Zealand is partnering up with telematics provider Coretex to deliver technology solutions across its truck range.
It part of Isuzu’s initiative to provide mobility solutions ranging from sales, service, fleet monitoring through to never being more than one-hour from an accredited service around the country.
Isuzu NZ general manager Colin Muir says the deal is all about supporting customers and meeting their needs.
“We identified a key customer requirement and worked to bring a solution to market. Coretex provide exactly what we require in terms of deliverables, so are rapt to be announcing this partnership.
“We believe this will be of huge benefit to our customers and is an additional reason why people should have a new Isuzu at the top of their consideration list when it comes time to purchase a new truck,” Muir says.
Coretex has over 135 staff and customers throughout New Zealand, Australia, and the US which includes some of the world’s largest and most well-known transport companies.
It provides compliance and fleet management solutions to more than 50,000 connected vehicles around the globe in the general transport, construction, mixed fleet and waste and recycling industries.
Their cloud-based visualisation software helps customers turn rich data into automated business intelligence to enhance safety, reduce waste and improve productivity.
The partnership will see the I-Path suite of products available to order from January 2019.
Isuzu will also offer a new 6.2-inch media centre from late 2018, which offers optional unique safety and driver assistance aids.
Benefits include advanced driver assistance, lane departure warning, tyre pressure monitoring, reverse cameras and more.
“Isuzu NZ is immensely proud to be taking an industry leadership position on technology solutions in the truck market which continues to elevate the most successful truck brand to a new benchmark,” Muir says.
“We believe many operators who buy premium marques will rethink their perspective on Isuzu based on the value for money, proven durability and now in terms of our advanced vehicle and driver assistance technologies.
“These can be optioned as desired, ranging from a single reversing camera all the way to full fleet management and safety packages.
“With Isuzu, it’s now even easier to tailor your transport solution requirements and create a bespoke package which fulfills all specific needs.”
