“In addition to the lofty objective of increasing share and maintaining leadership, we have also set the ambitious goal of developing a comprehensive, nationwide Isuzu Service Network.

“Our ultimate aim is that a customer and their truck should never be more than one-hour drive from an Isuzu Service Centre, where they know they will be looked after thanks to factory trained staff, industry leading diagnostic capability and genuine Isuzu parts,” Muir says.

Taumarunui Auto Centre, owned by Stu and Leanne Golden, gained the contract in partnership with Shorland Isuzu in Rotorua.

Stu says the opportunity for growth in the heavy diesel workshop is huge and looks forward to welcoming customers and offering them peace of mind servicing support.

Customers can be confident their truck will be looked after to the standards of Isuzu New Zealand.

“I intend to focus my time developing the truck side of the business while my son Michael, himself a master technician, will have the car side as his priority,” Stu says.

Taumaranui Auto Centre, authorised Service Centre for Isuzu Trucks is available for scheduled servicing, breakdown repairs, warranty repairs and genuine Isuzu parts fully supported by Isuzu New Zealand and Shorland Isuzu.

The workshop is located at 119 Bell Road, Taumaranui and contact details are 07 859 7493, 027 499 4689 or email tautocentre@gmail.com for more information.
