NZ bus services continues to be affected following the rejection by First Union and Tramways Union of a pay offer.

The industrial action includes non-operation of some services and drivers not collecting fares via the AT Hop ticketing system.

NZ Bus has suspended drivers who are not collecting fares and as a result, those services are not running. NZ Bus cannot pay drivers to operate if fares are not being collected, affecting some of the busiest routes in Auckland – along Dominion, Sandringham, Mount Eden and Manukau Roads, as well as other routes across the wider Auckland region and the LINK services.

The key 321 hospital service will run as usual, serving those who need to access the Auckland City Hospital.

AT has sourced limited services from other bus companies so that some key NZ Bus services can run.

Route 25 Dominion Road:

From Mt Roskill Shops:

First bus 6:30am going every 15 minutes until 10am, then every 30 minutes until 4pm. From 4pm every 15 minutes until last bus at 6:15pm.

Route 25 from Civic Centre:

First bus 7:15am going every 15 minutes until 8:45am, then every 30 minutes until 3:45pm. From 3:35pm every 15 minutes until last bus at 7pm.

Route 27 Mount Eden Road:

From Three Kings:

First bus 6:30am going every 15 minutes until 10am, then every 30 minutes until 4pm. From 4pm every 15 minutes until last bus at 6:15pm.

A full list of impacted service is on the AT website, Facebook, Twitter and real time updates on the AT Mobile app.

AT says to check before you travel and plan your journey in advance, and encourages customers to plan alternative travel.

Bus services operated by other companies will continue as scheduled, as will train and ferry services.

AT apologises for any inconvenience.
