More than 420 members of the vehicle trade and supply chain will come together tonight to celebrate ‘slightly more’ than 25 years of the Imported Motor Vehicle Industry Association.
The black tie function has been organised in conjunction with Auto Media Group Limited, the publishers of AutoTalk, and managing editor Richard Edwards is excited with the response to the event.
“This event sold out, and then some,” says Edwards. “This will be one of the biggest social gatherings of automotive trade professionals ever, and is going to be a great night.
“There is some mighty entertainment planned, great food and wine, and Jeremy Corbett as master of ceremonies is sure to be hilarious.
“All this would not have been possible without our sponsors, particularly principal sponsor Autohub and gold sponsor Provident Insurance, and I would like to give them a big shout out for their support.”
IMVIA chief executive David Vinsen is pleased with the spread of guests.
“It is a broad representation of the industry, and shows how far the import trade reaches, “ Vinsen says. “We also have international guests coming from Japan and our sister association in Australia.
“I am very excited,” he says. “We are confident people are going to have a fantastic time.”
