More than 406 new heavy trucks (over 3500kg GVM) arrived in March 2016, the largest number so far this year, and bettering Decembers figure of 405 units.
More than 2512 new light commercials (under 3500kg GVM) came in March 2016, slightly less than the December figure of 2555 units but a higher than arrivals in January (16090 and February (1879).
Used heavy trucks (over 3500kg GVM) totaled 63 units. Year to date has seen more than 213 used heavy commercial vehicles land on New Zealand wharves.
Used light commercials (under 3500kg GVM) tallied more than 541 units in March, which was a lower number than the two previous months.
